From Ebola and Marburg to cholera, Rift Valley Fever, Mpox, and COVID-19, outbreaks continue to test the resilience of communities, health systems, and economies. Climate shocks, including floods and droughts, are further increasing health risks and stretching already limited resources.<\/p><p>While many countries have made progress in pandemic preparedness, critical gaps remain, including limited emergency response training, weak supply chains, and challenges in coordination and accountability.<\/p><p>For more than <strong>69 years<\/strong>, Amref has worked alongside African governments, communities, and regional institutions to strengthen systems that prevent, detect, and respond to public health threats while ensuring continuity of essential
