The Africa CDC and the Mastercard Foundation have entered a new phase of their partnership under the Saving Lives and Livelihoods initiative, following the World Health Organization’s declaration that the\u00a0COVID-19 pandemic is no longer a public\u00a0health emergency of international concern.\u00a0With financial support from the Mastercard\u00a0Foundation through the Africa CDC, Amref\u00a0Health Africa is collaborating with the Federal\u00a0Ministry of Health (FMOH), Regional Health\u00a0Bureaus (RHBs), and local health offices to\u00a0implement this program across 50 woredas\u00a0Oromia, Amhara, Tigray Region and Afar\u00a0regions.\u00a0<\/p>

This Phase II initiative is designed to integrate COVID -19 vaccination into routine immunization and primary healthcare (PHC) services through life course approach and thereby strengthening Ethiopia\u2019s public health systems.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
