{"id":78,"date":"2018-07-02T08:29:02","date_gmt":"2018-07-02T07:29:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amref.org\/ke\/uncategorised\/another-win-amref-dr-elizabeth-wala-elected-kepsa-health-sector-board\/"},"modified":"2018-08-08T09:01:59","modified_gmt":"2018-08-08T08:01:59","slug":"another-win-amref-dr-elizabeth-wala-elected-kepsa-health-sector-board","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amref.org\/kenya\/another-win-amref-dr-elizabeth-wala-elected-kepsa-health-sector-board\/","title":{"rendered":"Another Win for Amref \u2013 Dr Elizabeth Wala Elected to KEPSA Health Sector Board"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Amref Health Africa in Kenya\u2019s Dr Elizabeth Wala has been elected Vice-Chair of the Kenya Healthcare Federation (KHF).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2004, KHF is the health sector board for the <a href=\"https:\/\/kepsa.or.ke\/\">Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA)<\/a>, and works with health care providers, hospitals, pharmaceutical manufacturers and insurers to promote strategic public-private partnerships and engaging the government and all relevant stakeholders towards achieving national access to quality health care. KHF\u2019s membership includes medical associations, professional associations, health non-profits and corporates.<\/p>\n<p>Amref Health Africa has been a member of the <a href=\"http:\/\/khf.co.ke\/\">Kenya Healthcare Federation<\/a> since 2011, with active representation and participation in the Public-Private Partnership Committee.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4990\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/amref.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_5929-1-e1530521951159.jpg?resize=800%2C473&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"473\" \/>Dr Wala, who serves as Programme Director for Health Systems Strengthening for Amref Health Africa in Kenya will serve as Vice Chair for the period 2018 to 2022.
