A Mother\u2019s Dedication to Her Children\u2019s Health<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From Fuoni, Zanzibar, Yusra Hassan, a proud mother of two, carries a
deep sense of gratitude for the protection that vaccines have brought to
her family. \u201cI\u2019m so thankful to my government for bringing vaccination
services close to us,\u201d she says with a smile. \u201cMy children have
completed all recommended vaccines, and I\u2019ve made sure to take
them to the clinic on every appointment. They are healthy and strong
and that makes me happy as a mother.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Yusra\u2019s story is one of commitment and care. She understands that
vaccines are not just medicine they are a promise of a better, healthier
future. She is grateful for the continued efforts of the government and
partners working together to make vaccines accessible to all.
\u201cI encourage my fellow mothers to always follow up with their
children\u2019s vaccinations,\u201d she adds. \u201cLet\u2019s make sure our little ones
grow strong and stay protected from diseases like polio and other
illnesses that can harm them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n


While some in her community still believe myths that vaccines can affect
children\u2019s growth or intelligence, Yusra confidently disagrees.
\u201cFor me,\u201d she says firmly, \u201cvaccines give children good health. My
children are proof of that they\u2019re healthy, active, and full of life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Through Yusra\u2019s story, the SLL Project under Mastercard foundation
continues to highlight the power of Vaccines, community trust, health
