Brenda Mubita
Brenda joined Amref Health Africa in Zambia, as Project Officer, in July 2017. She is the project lead for closing the Gap between the communities and formal Health sector. Brenda holds vast experience in Zambian Health sector specifically in Health programming. She has had extensive experience in training and mentoring health facility staff as well as community Health Workers. She is passionate about working with the marginalized communities. Professionally trained as a Registered Nurse Midwife with over 20 years’ experience. she is a holder of a Bachelor of Social work and Master’s degree in Public Health. Brenda has worked for number of local and International Non-Governmental organizations such as MCHIP)/JHPIEGO, Project Concern International and FHI360. On completion of her training as a nurse, she worked for the Ministry of Health in central province of Zambia where she gained 12 years of hands on clinical experience.
