Dr Chrispine Sichone is an established Medical Doctor currently serving as Director Health Policy for the Ministry of Health Zambia. He has served at all the levels of the heath system namely Primary, Secondary and Tertiary levels of the health system in Zambia and is currently at Headquarters as Director Health Policy. He is responsible for coordination of Health policy and policy analysis, review and formulation. He is also responsible for legislation drafting of layman’s bill and providing drafting instructions to Ministry of Justice. Further he is responsible for parliamentary Business and Cabinet Business for the Health Sector in Zambia. Having been in continuous service in the public service for 28 years, he therefore has both the theoretical required knowledge and hands own experience in the health sector. He has participated and still participates in the coordination analysis and formulation implementation monitoring and evaluation of health policy for the health sector in Zambia. He has a degree in Medicine surgery as well as a Bachelor of Science in Human biology. In addition, he is a holder of Master degree in International Health and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration obtained from ESAMI and MSM. Further he has a certificate in project management and communication skills.

He is currently the head of department for health policy and health economics at Levy Mwanawasa Medical University where he also is a lecturer in MPH and has past experience in supervision of MPH students at Cavendish university Zambia
