Description: Skills gap mapping is vital for aligning training initiatives with workforce needs. It enhances the health workforce’s capabilities and fosters innovative, locally relevant solutions to strengthen primary health care (PHC) systems. By addressing skills mismatches, we ensure that the health workforce is equipped to meet evolving healthcare demands, improve health outcomes, and create meaningful employment opportunities for young PHC workers. The incumbent consultant will map out primary health care facilities in Kitwe, Ndola, Lusaka, and Kafue districts with a focus in medicine and surgery, dentistry, pharmacy, clinical medicine, nursing, environmental and public health, orthopaedics, physiotherapy, oral health, community health, optometry, laboratory services, and radiology.
