The Annual Learning Forum is Amref Health Africa in Kenya’s flagship platform for institutional learning and knowledge exchange. It brings together programmes, projects, and support functions to reflect on lessons, innovations, and opportunities shaping Kenya’s health landscape.
Held under the theme “From Insight to Impact,” the Forum provided a dynamic space to translate evidence and field experience into actionable strategies that strengthen health systems at both national and county levels.
Each year, the Forum brings together stakeholders from across Amref’s various programmes, including Family and Reproductive Health (FRH), Disease Control, Prevention, and Management (DCPM), and Population, Health, and Environment. (PHE), as well as key support functions such as Communications, Monitoring and Evaluation, Strategic Partnerships, Finance, Transport, Procurement, and ICT. Through high-level dialogues, case studies, and interactive learning sessions, participants examine what succeeds, what needs to change, and how collective efforts can speed up progress towards universal health coverage.
The 2025 edition highlighted practical models showing how data, partnerships, and community leadership are shaping sustainable health impact. Voices from various sessions offered powerful insights on resilience, innovation, and accountability, reinforcing Amref’s dedication to a people-centred, system-driven approach to health.
