Antonera Lepesha is a Community Health Volunteer (CHV) from Tritop in Samburu County. In the last 13 years that Dorcus Indalo has been working with Amref Health Africa in Kenya, she has gone from supporting HIV and AIDS project in one of Africa’s largest urban slums, to working with Maasai and Kamba communities to improve reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health in Kajiado and Kitui counties. Amref Joins Health Stakeholders in Aligning NCDs to Universal Health Coverage agenda
The Cabinet Secretary for Health in Kenya, Mrs Sicily Kariuki, has appealed to development partners to support the Government in mapping out how to achieve Universal Health Coverage in the context of a growing burden of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).
