Madalitso Tolani
Madalitso is a seasoned biostatistician, monitoring and evaluation expert, with over 8 years of progressive work experience in health related programs in sub-Saharan Africa. He is the Head of Program Planning, Monitoring and Reporting for Amref Health Africa in Malawi, and also provides technical program oversight in Amref Zambia. He joined Amref in August 2013 as the M&E officer in a project called Staying Alive, making maternal health care work. Over the years, he has grown from an M&E officer to a manager and now heading and leading Amref programs in Malawi on WASH, RMNCAH, SRHR and e&mHealth. While working with Amref, he has played a key role in the development of Amref M&E framework and contributed to the development and implementation of Amref Information Management System (AIMS). He is a 2012-2013 Global Health Corps alumni, and holds a Masters degree in Biostatistics from the University of Malawi – Chancellor College and Bachelors degree in Statistics and Biology from the same institution.
