Who We Are

Amref Health Africa in Malawi was established in 2012 in response to calls from the Ministry of Health to support its efforts in strengthening primary health care in Malawian communities.

We currently reach over 1.2 million people annually across 12 districts, with offices in 8 districts. Amref Health Africa Malawi is registered as a local organisation with Malawi NGO board and Council for Non-Governmental Organisations (CONGOMA).

The Malawi office is part of the bigger Amref Health Africa that was established in 1957 with its headquarters (HQ) in Kenya.
