Hester Mkwinda Nyasulu
Hester has over 18 years of professional work experience which includes a combination of technical expertise, organizational leadership and senior level management in both international and local NGOs/CSOs including White Ribbon Alliance Malawi, GOAL Malawi, The Hunger Project Malawi and Concern Universal, now United Purpose. He has vast experience in holistic development spanning from health, HIV, Climate change, Gender, resilience, and population.
Hester is very strong in networking and high-level advocacy work including engagements with high level government officials and decision makers. He has proven success in business development, people management and asset management, and has outstanding experience in working with various donors including USAID, UN, IrishAid, DFID/FCDO and private companies/Foundations. Hester has worthy of experience in overseeing successful start-up and implementation of public health projects, most notably, the PaMawa USAID Activity.
Hester is currently completing his PhD in Business Administration (Organizational Development) with UNICAF University and has a Master in Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management. He is a Fellow in HIV Leadership and Management with the College of Medicine, a constituent of the University of Malawi. He also serves as a Board Member of Council for Non-Governmental Organizations in Malawi (CONGOMA) where he chairs the Central Region Chapter.
