Amref Health Africa presents at #BEMOREDigital Event under the topic: Best Practices for digital storytelling March 3rd, 2021
Thursday, 15 April, 2021
Rachel Erskine, Communications Manager at Amref Health Africa (UK) and Lillian Kamanzi Mugisha, Communications and Fundraising Manager at Amref Health Africa (Uganda) made a virtual presentation at the #BeMoreDigital conference in the Uk. The Presentation was in line with creating campaigns that accurately represent your mission and impact. We highlighted the processes, people and different methods we use to digitally represent our Amref Health Africa stories as a key in our health related campaign planning processes. In the session, the Amref Communications team discussed how we harness the digital tools and platforms available for storytelling.
Telling digital stories can often be a challenge for organisations because these stories can be lost in the noise. Therefore as Amref Health Africa we shared our Understanding and the best practices for digital storytelling that have helped our Orangisation create compelling, ethical and engaging stories. We have since learnt that most of our stories have contributed and welcomed service users, donors and audiences alike.
Our best practices have helped us produced remote, collaborative digital campaigns that align with our mission and ethical policies. Our creative campaigns resonate with our audience and attract long-term, engaged supporters.
At the end of the session the participants were able to gain top tips and best practices when it comes to telling stories online and learnt about the key tools and processes involved. Together we let us continue to create digital stories that shine and inspire.
Amref Health Africa teams up with African communities to create lasting health change.
