AfyaFest 2026 Connected for Health Report
AfyaFest 2026 brought together over 309 participants from more than 10 countries to strengthen Africa’s health innovation ecosystem through cross-sector collaboration, youth and women’s leadership, local research, regulatory advancement, and sustainable financing. The event showcased African-led innovations, awarded USD 21,000 to five ventures, and emphasized mobilizing African capital, strengthening regulatory and innovation ecosystems, integrating One Health and climate considerations, and moving health ventures beyond grant dependence toward sustainable, locally driven solutions.
