Operational challenges of delivering integrated mobile health services to pastoralist communities in Ethiopia: a phenomenological study
Access to essential healthcare remains a significant challenge for pastoralist communities in Ethiopia, exacerbated by their unique mobility patterns and geographic isolation. This study identified critical operational challenges in implementing an integrated Mobile Health Service (iMHS), including high staff turnover, inadequate transportation, and resource constraints, while highlighting the need for improved logistics, community engagement, and integration into existing health systems to enhance service delivery and sustainability.
