Yodit Kassa is a seasoned education and business development leader with a strong track record in the research and financial sectors. With a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from Addis Ababa University, she has spent over a decade shaping educational programs, developing business strategies, and driving growth in key institutions. Her expertise spans management, data analysis, lecturing, and stakeholder engagement, making her a dynamic force in both academia and corporate development.
Currently serving as the Chief Business Development Officer at the Ethiopian Securities Exchange (ESX), Yodit plays a pivotal role in establishing Ethiopia’s first securities exchange, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering partnerships to build a robust capital market. Prior to this, she spent nearly a decade at ACCA, where she advanced from Education Manager to Head of Business Development, overseeing market expansion, professional training programs, and industry engagement. Her career began in academia as a lecturer at Addis Ababa University, where she contributed to shaping future financial professionals through her expertise in accounting and finance.
