Transformation and Strategy Lead
Bersabeh Elias is the Strategy and Transformation Lead at Amref Health Africa in Ethiopia. She brings extensive experience in management consulting, financial software and implementation programmes, and organisational and people development.
Before joining Amref, Bersabeh spent seven years with McKinsey & Company, where she served as a Senior Professional Development Expert. She holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, both from Addis Ababa University, and is a certified expert in several software and technology-related fields.
In her role at Amref Health Africa in Ethiopia, Bersabeh serves as a strategic advisor to the Country Director and leads the coordination and execution of the country strategy roadmap. She oversees monitoring and reporting of key strategic initiatives, fosters cross-departmental collaboration, and drives transformation efforts in organisation design, change management, systems and process improvement, and enterprise innovation in line with organisational priorities.
