Mutinational Lung Cancer Diagnosis and Control Project

(2024 - 2025)

Amref Ethiopia Cancer treatment project

Mutinational Lung Cancer Diagnosis and Control is a two-year project implemented in Dupti Hospital, Semera Health Center, Logia Health center, Mille Health Center and Asyata Hospital through the support of Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation (BMSF). These areas have been targeted due to the presence of industrial parks, high tuberculosis (TB) burden, and high biomass utilization. The project has prioritized activities related to awareness creation and health systems strengthening related to lung cancer diagnosis, screening, treatment, referral, and palliative care to ultimately contribute to the increased survival of lung cancer patients in Ethiopia.
